The campaigns developed with that same purpose also enabled energy consumption reduction at corporate offices, thanks to the fact that 91% of the computers that stayed on at night were turned off. Grupo Éxito works hard to reduce, mitigate and compensate greenhouse gas emissions in its logistics and commercial operations.
- 16 Éxito Express neighborhood stores in Bogotá have begun their supply activity at night to optimize the transportation of products to the stores. The number of stores supplied per truck increased from 3 stores supplied to 4 stores supplied per truck.
- In 2011 the Company decreased the consumption of Refrigerant 12 by 55%.
