Throughout the year, the Company develops programs for the wellbeing of its employees and their family, in areas such as education, culture, and sports, among others.

• In 2011 the Company invested more than COP 4,000,000,000 in education alternatives for Grupo Éxito employees and their family.
• A total of 196,591 persons were benefited by company aid and bonuses offered by Grupo Éxito to its employees.
• The Company provides savings, loans, recreation and insurance services through its employee fund PRESENTE, www.presente.com.co
• To strengthen a culture of savings, Grupo Éxito employees can take advantage of the Futuro Mutual Investment Fund, which benefits its members and aims to improve their life quality.

Selection, Training and Promotion Grupo Éxito guarantees transparent employee selection and promotion processes.

Educational Training Programs   The educational training programs offer Company employees complementary knowledge for developing new skills and competences to facilitate their promotion. In 2011 Grupo Éxito employees invested 1,237,459 hours of training in courses and seminars offered by the Company.
