Almacenes Exito S.A. wants to inform that in the General Shareholders’ Meeting held on March 19^th,  the following propositions were approved by the shareholders: 

Exito is pleased to announce that the Medellin Court of Appeal decided in its favor with regard to a dispute held between Exito and former minority shareholders of Gran Cadena de Almacenes Colombianos S.A. “Cadenalco”, a company initially acquired by, and after merged with, Exito. Their demand was to declare null and void all acts that took place after the acquisition of a majority stake by Exito, including the decision to merge both companies.

Gonzalo Restrepo Lopez, who has managed the largest retail company in the country for 22 years, announced today, during the Company's Board of Directors, his decision to step-down from his position in order to dedicate himself to his family and to new activities related to the development of Colombia.
