He is a Systems Engineer and Marketing Specialist from the EAFIT University and a Management Specialist from the Pontificia Bolivariana University. In his more than 30-year career, he has held various management positions, including: Vice-President of Technology and Processes at Administradora de Pensiones y Cesantías Protección, Vice-President of Management at C.I. Hermeco, Director of Architecture and Technological Solutions at Orbitel E.S.P and Director of Data Management at Suramericana de Seguros. As Information Technology Services Manager, he is responsible for developing the group's technology strategy and delivering technology services.

In accordance with Decree 830 of 2021, he is not considered a politically exposed person (“PEP”).
