We believe in Colombia and in the power of its people to transform realities. From the textile business, we weave dreams that strengthen the country's productive fabric and generate opportunities in the territories.
Thus, textiles become an engine that unites hands, stories, and the future, reflecting our commitment to an industry that drives the country's social and economic progress.
More than just clothing: jobs that transform communities
The textile business is part of our DNA and one of the main sources of formal employment in Colombia. Through coordinated work with more than 300 partner workshops in seven departments, we generate more than 12,000 jobs, strengthening local economies and promoting the productive development of the industry.
When the hands that make also build autonomy
The textile sector is largely sustained by women who find in garment manufacturing an opportunity to grow, make decisions, and plan for a more stable future. Today, 75% of the jobs generated through our own brands, Arkitect, Bronzini, People, Custer, and Bluss, are held by women, many of whom are heads of households.
Textile chains that grow with their partners
A strong textile industry is built by supporting those behind each garment. That is why at Grupo Éxito we work hand in hand with our suppliers to strengthen their production capacities and promote responsible practices that contribute to the development of the sector and the territories.
Through evaluation, training, and ongoing support, we promote adequate working conditions, equity, and continuous improvement, consolidating long-term relationships throughout the textile chain.
Crearte began in 2006, in my living room, with three borrowed machines and the dream of providing for my family. Today, we employ nearly 300 people, most of whom are local, and 90% of whom are women, many of whom are heads of households. With the support of Grupo Éxito through its textile industry DIDETEXCO, we have strengthened our processes, focusing on training, quality, and sustainability, Dalia Calderón, owner and founder of Crearte.
