She holds a degree in Business Administration from the International University of the Americas, San José, Costa Rica. With 26 years of experience in the retail sector, she has developed extensive expertise in strategic category management, building high‑performance teams, and executing results‑oriented strategies.
For more than 15 years at Walmart Central America, she held senior leadership positions such as Country Manager, Deputy Director of Food & Beverages, Director of Merchandise Support, Director of Consumer, Pharmacy & Pets, and most recently, Senior Director of Grocery, Consumer & Pets. In this latest role, she led the development of the value proposition and the performance of a strategic part of the business across five countries (Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua), managing key indicators such as sales, margin, profit, and market share, among others.
In accordance with Decree 830 of 2021, she does not hold the status of a Politically Exposed Person (“PEP”).
